Project Accountant

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Full Project Billing and Payment Cycle Responsibilities including:


o Preparing client invoices
o Subcontractor payments and overseeing accounting assistant on
waiver collections
o Work closely with project managers to solidify accurate sworn
statements
o Ensure all documentation is in order for timely payment from the
owner
Job Costing
o Processing of subcontractor and material invoices
o Uploading new projects into accounting software
General Ledger
o Assisting in monthly/quarterly reconciliation of general ledger accounts
o Assisting in preparation of yearly audit workpapers
o Other miscellaneous special projects as assigned by the controller or
CFO

REQUIREMENTS

Travel to the downtown office will be required; we will also entertain


candidates who want to be permanently stationed in our downtown office
Organized and detail oriented; capability to multi task
Excellent communication skills will deal with multiple project managers
simultaneously
High level of integrity and must be trustworthy. Will deal with sensitive data.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Software
