Description of how to implement in the class: This lesson will help students with English language proficiency.
The teacher will review each vocabulary word with the students in class and review the meaning of the word with the
students by using the classroom white board. Then, each student will read sentences out loud using the words to
help them understand the meanings. The teacher will ask the student to explain the meaning of the word in the
context of the sentence to make sure the student understands it. After the lesson, the students will be able to use
classroom computers to practice the vocabulary words by using the Quizlet Drill and Practice games that were set up
to support the lesson. This will allow students more practice with the words. The teacher will be available while the
students practice their work to answer any questions and make sure they understand what they miss. The Quizlet Drill
and Practice allows students to practice multiple times to learn the word meanings. After each student has practice
several times and gotten all the words correct, the student can move onto the next lesson.
