Description of how to implement in the class: Inspiration will be part of my lesson plan
to introduce the topic of conic sections. I will assign some reading homework before the class period and
ask students to follow instructions and create a graphical representation that have facts and information
about the topic. Students will be able to represent the information learned by creating a graphic organizer,
which will help them remember, understand, and create, each student will choose the appropriate design
that will help him/her understand the facts. This activity will make the student ready to learn more about
conic sections. Students can save their designed graphics for quizzes or tests also he/she can save it as a
review for SAT or ACT. Inspiration is an easy tool that helps students remember the definitions and
standard equations of conic sections.
Level of Technology Implementation (LoTi): The level of technology implementation in
this lesson plan is 4 (Integration). Students use technology and the technology is central to classroom
instruction. Higher levels of Blooms taxonomy are addressed (Evaluating and creating).

to see the actual inspiration file. It is required to have Inspiration Software downloaded on your computer to
be able to open the file. Above there is a simple graphic to view an example of a graphic organizer.
Other comments about your proposed BBPT Activity: Inspiration has different design
that a student can choose from to organize his or her thinking and information about certain topic depend on
the student creativity.
