BUZZ ON DETECTING DEVICE ON KILOWATT HOUR METERS

A device that measures the amount of electric energy consumed by a residence,

business, or an electrically powered device. It is installed at customers premises to
measure electric energy delivered to their customers for billing purposes. In our
barangay, there is an unbalanced consumption of electric current. It might lead to
transformer explosion that may affect all the houses in a barangay. The fault of some, all
are affected.
I think of a device that helps to prevent the transformer explosion, Buzz on. It
will install in each Kilowatt hour meter to detect if the house has an overloaded
appliances that may affect the transformer. The device is connected to CASURECO II
that could able to monitor the consumption of the individual houses. These devices will
feedback the users to change their energy consumption behavior. Piezoelectric
transducers, from the word Piezo means electricity caused by pressure.
