We have been informed that M/S. Belal & Brothers of House No 407, Road No- 29, New DOHS,
Mohakhali, Dhaka 1206, executed a contract agreement dated 10 th December, 2014 (Ref. Mentioned
above) as 2nd party with Bangladesh Machine Tools Factory (BTMF) Ltd, having registered address at
House: 28/A (4th Floor), West Main Road, Banani, DOHS, Dhaka 1205. (Hereinafter called the 1 st
Party) has undertaken, Pursuant to contract for the Supply, installation, testing & commissioning
of Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) Machine (hereinafter called the
contract) to the 1st Party for final delivery to Institute of Public Health, Mohakhali, Dhaka 1215.

PERFORMANCE GURANTEE NO: PG01/2014, DATE: 11.12.2014 FOR Tk.1,64,50,000.00

(TAKA ONE CRORE SIXTY FOUR LAC FIFTY THOUSAND) ONLY.
Futhermore, the agreement contains the terms of providing a Bank Gurantee of 10% of purchase order
value, i.e. Tk. 1,64,50,000.00 (Taka: One Crore Sixty Four Lac Fifty Thousand) only in your
favour. This Bank Gurantee PG 01/2014, dated: 11.12.2014 shall be treated as an intregal part of the
contract between the parties [M/S. Belal & Brothers and Bangladesh Machine Tools Factory (BMTF)
Ltd.] and the Gurantee is to be advised through Trust Bank Limited, Principle Branch, Dhaka
Cantonment, Dhaka.
Now, at the request of our client M/S Belal & Brothers, we, The Meghna Bank Ltd., Dhanmondi
Branch, Dhaka, do hereby irrevocably undertake to pay you without cavil or argument any sum or
sums not exceeding an amount of Tk. 1,64,50,000.00 (Taka: One Crore Sixty Four Lac Fifty
Thousand) only upon receipt first written demand through advising Bank, i.e. Trust Bank Limited,
Principle Branch, Dhaka, without you needing to prove or show grounds or reasons for you demand
of the sum specified therein.

This Gurantee is valid until 01 (One) year and can be extend futhurmore for 02 (Two) months only
upon mutual covenants and as per the terms and conditions laid in the Contract dated 10 December,
2014 between our client i.e. M/S. Belal & Brothers and Bangladesh Machine Tools Factory (BMTF)
Ltd. The written request for extention must reach as before 07 days of expiry date of the Gurantee.
This gurantee will expire: 10.12.2015.
