Details of Changes
FCI reporting requirements for equines has been revised. A revised model FCI document has been
added at Annex 3.
Slaughter batch selection process has been amended. Please familiarise yourself with the amended
process.
FCI reporting requirements for equines has been revised. A revised model FCI document has been
added at Annex 3.
Category 3 ABP revised to provide separation between bovine and porcine blood. TB included in
table of conditions. Instructions re-worded for clarification.
Revision of the Raw Cows Drinking Milk sampling. Annex 1 of Section 3 introduced with regards the
Raw Drinking milk labelling regulations.
Enforcement responsibilities for FSA and Local Authority has been revised, update of legislative
references and terms.

Intervention Protocol for FSA approved meat establishments has replaced the previously withdrawn
Monitoring Cause for Concern section with new guidance and tactical forms.
Warm meat policy and associated template letters, notices and forms created to improve
documentation and help secure compliance with Regulation EC No. 853/2004 laying down specific
requirements for the storage and transportation of meat.

Revision of FCI for equines inclusion of new model document for FCI.
Revised in line with FSA warm meat policy to secure compliance with Regulation EC No. 853/2004
