Current Investigation Findings Including Any Statements:
Neighbors report hearing multiple dogs barking, growling, and yelping. There were multiple
dogs on the scene who appear to have multiple contusions and lacerations around the face and
neck. Two canine bodies were found buried along the north side of the property.
Medical History Info:
No previous medical history known. Animal has multiple deep lacerations on face and neck.
Both ears are damaged. There are both new and healing areas along the dogs body. Patient is
emaciated with a 2/9 body condition score.

Animal Demeanor at Scene and Any Changes:


Animal was fearful when approached, but seems friendly upon entering the shelter.
Environmental Description:
Location: Outdoor
Food: Not present

Weather Conditions: Sunny, 90 degrees Fahrenheit


Water: Not present

Feces/Urine: Scattered among yard

Describe Housing Conditions: Animal was chained on a 6 foot tether. There was an old dog
house present for access.
Cleanliness: The area was dirty with feces present. The animal appeared unkempt.
Other Animals: There were 4 other canines found in the yard, tethered and in similar condition.
Scene Description/Findings:
No apparent blood or fighting ring found on scene. All dogs appeared to have both new and old
injuries. There were heavy chains found along the property. The yard was cluttered and
overgrown with minimal shelter for the dogs. All dogs were tethered with heavy chains near each
other. There was a baseball bat found on the back porch with possible dried blood- possible
weapon. No other findings were noted.
