Sampling and Participants of the Study

The site of study was a College of Nursing from a well-known university in Manila. The
location was selected for its accessibility and convenience to the researchers as well as to
the sample population concerned. It was also preferred because of the evident connection
between the chosen topic and the sample in focus. The population involved in the study was
the Level II Nursing students.
Stratified Random Sampling was the chosen sampling method. 5 male respondents and 5
female respondents were allocated for each of the 8 sections for a total of 80 17-19 y/o
respondents. The respondents were equally distributed to represent each of the Level II
sections.
