This show is a qualifier for Equifest taking place at the East of England Showground on the
12th- 16th August 2015. The two highest placed exhibits not already qualified in each affiliated class
will qualify. Qualifying classes marked (E). Equifest qualification also qualifies the combination for the
equivalent championship class at Ponies (UK) Supreme Championships on 24th to 26th July at
Bury Farm It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to obtain a qualification card before entering the show
and getting this signed by either the Judge, Steward or Show Secretary at the time of qualification.
Qualification cards can be obtained free of charge from Equifest.

This show is a qualifier for the 2015 TSR Riders/In Hand Championships. Riders/Handlers can choose
which Regional final they go to Central, East Anglia, North West, North East, South East,
Wales & South West or Scottish.
TSR Riders Champs 1st & 2nd placed riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring.
TSR In Hand Champs The two highest placed handlers with a TSR In Hand Card will
qualify in any In Hand class. Handlers must have their cards signed in the ring by the judge.

INTERNATIONAL SHOWING SOCIETY

This show is affiliated to the International Showing Society and is a qualifier for the
Royal London Show 2015.
1st, 2nd and 3rd placed horses/ponies not already qualified in eligible classes will qualify for the
Champion of Britain Title classes to be held at the Royal London Show in 2015.
Each qualified horse/pony will receive a qualification card in the ring which will enable the owner
to enter the Royal London Show, provided the owner and rider/handler are, or become registered
with the International Showing Society within 28 days of the qualifying show.

NOTES ON RRC OPEN SHOW

All competitors must have third party liability insurance.


Competitors and spectators under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.
All ages as at 1st January 2015.
Spurs are only allowed in classes identified. However, competitors under the age of 16 years are not
allowed to wear spurs in any class.
Whips: Maximum length of 75cm (30) in all SJ and WH classes.
SJ and WH heights are at Judges discretion and subject to ground conditions.
Competitors must have attained their third birthday.
Whilst mounted, competitors must wear a British Standard approved hard hat.
Lead rein ponies to be shown in snaffle bridle.
Lead rein competitors to be 9 years and under.
First Ridden competitors to be 12 years and under.
All ages specified at 1st January of current year.
Stallions will be permitted but must be kept under control and bitted at all times.
Riders/ Handlers of stallion small breeds must have attained their 14th birthday (1st Jan) and for large
breeds their 16th birthday.
All earrings and body studs to be removed before entering any ring as a competitor.
Novice competitors may only retain novice status for one season except showjumping and working
hunter.
Parking is available on the showground at your own risk. The Committee accept no responsibility for
damage to vehicles. Parking is to be confined to designated areas other than Judges and Officials.
The Committee reserve the right to amalgamate or split classes if necessary.
All competitors compete at their own risk.
A two minute call will be issued for any competitor not present when required. Notify the caravan if
you are engaged in another class or you may be scratched from the class. We will always try to
accommodate competitors whose classes clash. However, on occasions, this is just not possible.
All earrings and body studs to be removed before entering any ring.
Classes for Small Breeds mean Shetland, Welsh A, Welsh B, Dartmoor and Exmoor.
Classes for Large Breeds mean Welsh C, Welsh D, Connemara, Highland, Fell, Dales and New Forest.
Classes may be split or amalgamated if entries denote.
The judges decision is final.

SUPREME CHAMPIONSHIP

n/e denotes classes not eligible for the Supreme Championship.


Champion and Reserve Champion and Mini Champion and Reserve Mini Champion from the Ridden
Showing Championships will go forward to the Supreme Championship.
Champion and Reserve Champion from the In Hand Championship will go forward to the Supreme
Championship.
Champion and Reserve Champion and Mini Champion and Reserve Mini Champion from the Working
Hunter Championships will go forward to the Supreme Championship.

MEMBERS CHAMPIONSHIP

n/e denotes classes not eligible for the Members Championship.


To be eligible for the RRC Members Championship competitors MUST have attended at least one show
as a member of RRC prior to the Open Show on 19th July 2015.
All RRC Members should wear a white armband to identify them for the purpose of being awarded a
members rosette if placed in the top 6 of any qualifying class.
The highest placed member in the top 6 of each class goes forward to the Members Championship
which will be held immediately before the Supreme Championship.

A 30 minute break will be taken at approximately 1pm when all rings will stand down.

This will be a two phase competition after first rounds have been completed competitors
will be called back as required to complete a timed jump off with some raised fences and
additional fillers. Knockdown = 4 faults. Refusal = 4 faults. 2nd Refusal = Elimination.
Fall or Dismount = Elimination and competitor must leave the ring on foot.
Class 25 -

Lead Rein (rider 9 years and under) 45cm to be held over a shortened course over
2 rounds. LR to be attached to the noseband (n/e)

Competitors entered in classes 26, 28 and 30 for pony and 27, 29 and 31 for horse are eligible
for the leading pony or leading horse rider championship. Same combination of pony and
rider and horse and rider to jump up to three relevant classes and their placings will be
combined to give an overall score. The highest score for rider and pony and the highest score
for rider and horse will win the Leading Pony Rider and Leading Horse Rider Competition with
a prize of 50 for pony and awarded The Chairmans Cup (perpetual trophy) and 50 for horse
and awarded The Presidents Cup (perpetual trophy). In the event of a tie a timed jump off
will be required.

Prize Money 25
Fences to be jumped over a 60 second timed course. Fence 1 MUST be the first fence
jumped in order to commence the clock. Following that all fences can be jumped in any
order and multiple times but cannot be re-jumped if refusal or knocked down. At 60 seconds
the bell will ring and the competitors jump score will be calculated. Fence 10 is the Joker
Jump and can only be jumped once. 25 points will be awarded for jumping the Joker.
However, if the Joker is knocked down or refused then 25 points will be deducted from your
jump score. Rider or horse fall will result in elimination.

Fence 1 to 3 = 5 points
Fence 4 to 7 = 8 points
Fence 8 and 9 = 10 points
Fence 10 - JOKER = 25 points

PUISSANCE Open to horses and ponies (class may be split if sufficient entries) (n/e)

Horses/ponies only to compete once in any WH class. All horses/ponies in WH classes must
be plaited or hogged with the exception of pure bred Mountain and Moorland.
