Anaerobic Adhesive

Cure Characteristics

Anaerobic adhesive Cures when confined between

close fitting parts & outside adhesive remains in
liquid state

Uncured liquid outside the joint can be easily wiped

away with a cloth, keeping the assembly clean and neat.

History
In 1953, American professor Vernon
Krieble developed anaerobic thread
locking adhesive in his basement
laboratory at Trinity college in
Hartford.
Mr. Krieble founded American
Sealants Corporation after developing
a unique polyethylene container that
prevented the anaerobic chemistry
from curing in the bottle.
