Describing People
This game consist of two kind of game.
1. Matching game.
2. Writing Game.
This game also helps every student in the class understand new vocabulary and
sentence structure.
Time : 15 Minutes
Procedures:
1. The teacher makes some preparation for the game.
2. The teacher shows the game by using LCD so all the students can see the games and
play it together in the class.
3. The teacher asks several students to analyze, match and fill the answer of the game in
front of the class and other students help them to answer the question.
4. After all the game are finished being play, the teacher asks the students to tell about
the characteristics of describing a person and ask them to make several sentences
based on the word that they have been found.
2. Word 2 Word : How fast can you think?
This game also helps every students in the class understand new vocabulary.
How to play the game:
Click on the words in the right order to make a sentence. Check your score and speed at the
end of the game.

Time : 20 Minutes

Procedures:
1. The teacher makes some preparation for the game prepare the game.
2. The teacher gives explanation to the students about how to play the game (in this
section the students will be playing the game).
3. The teacher devides the students into several group, each group consist of three or
four students.
4. Each group plays the game in front of the class to look for the group that can get the
high score on the game.
5. After the game is finished playing, The teacher asks the students to make some
sentences about describing person (friend, family, teacher, favorite artist, etc).
6. The teacher gives explanation about how to write a descriptive text of person.
7. Tell them to make descriptive text of person based on the sentences they wrote.

The teacher makes some preparation for the game prepare the game.
The teacher gives explanation about how to play Maple Wood Junior High School
Game.
The teacher asks the students to make several groups each group consist of four or
five students.
The teacher gives the students 20 minutes to play the game.
While the students play the game, the students write and remember every
characteristics of the character in the game.
After the time is over to play the game, the teacher asks the students to choose one
of the character that each groups want to describe.
One of the students from each group read the descriptive text that has been written in
front of the class.
