The city, Naya Raipur has a 500 meter wide green belt

A residential housing complex of 2600 housing units

has already been developed by Chhattisgarh housing
Board on 62 hectares of land.

The residential buildings can also have shopping malls and

multiplexes, an 18-hole Golf course, Convention center,
and star hotels.

There is a plan to build an I.I.T in the state of

Chhattisgarh.
