Pronomes Relativos - Who / Which / Whose / Whom / Where / That


1. Uma orao relativa (relative clause):
descreve o seu antecedente (1) numa orao principal
comea por um pronome relativo (ex. who, which, whose)
(1) entende-se por antecedente uma pessoa ou algo

Exemplo 1:
I saw the girl. She was here yesterday.
I saw the girl who was here yesterday.

onde:
I saw the girl

= orao principal

who was here yesterday

= orao relativa

the girl = antecedente da orao relativa

= pronome relativo

Exemplo 2:
I live in a big house. The house is in the countryside.
I live in a big house which is in the countryside.

onde:
I live in a big house

= orao principal

which is in the countryside


a big house

= orao relativa

= antecedente da orao relativa

which = pronome relativo

Exemplo 3:
The book, whose cover is torn, is mine.

onde:
The book is mine

= orao principal

whose cover is torn

= orao relativa

whose = pronome relativo

Complete cada uma das frases com uma orao relativa restritiva, utilizando os seguintes pronomes relativos which, who,
whose, where.
Exemplo:
The car was found last week. It has been stolen again.
The car which was found last week has been stolen again.
