He was born in 1945 in Jamaica Bob remains the most known and revered performer of reggae music. In 1966, Bob and Rita Anderson married. After Bob traveled with his mother to Wilmington. After eight months returned to jamaica and formed a new band with Benny and Peter called The mythical The Wailers. In 1967 The Wailers signed a contract with Clement Dodd. But because they didnt respond to the expectatives went bankrupt. In the summer of 1971 Bob accepted an invitation from Johnny Nash to accompany him to Sweden, at which he signed a contract with CBS. In 1972 the Wailers landed in England to promote the single Reggae on Broadway, but had no hits. The Wailers played in London in April 1973. But three months later, Bunny left the band and was replaced by Joe Higgs, the old professor of music of the Wailers. In 1977 it was discovered that Bob had cancer. Despite his illness, Bob wanted to move forward with his career. In 1981 Bob dies in a hospital gurney.
