Purchasing/ Sales Counter person

Job description:
We are looking for someone that has experience within the lumber industry. You must have working
experience with either a Lumber Yard, Plywood or Building Material company. This person will be taught
all the tools needed to have successful growth with a company that has been around for over 40years.
This lumber company will teach you many things including: Warehouse, Yard Knowledge, Inventory,
Sales, Receiving and you will eventually learn how to become a Buyer.

Requirements:

Lumber Experience or equivalent skills, at least 1yr

Computer Skills
Quick Learner
Ability to do some lifting at least 50-75lbs
Must be able to Bend, Stoop , Twist, Push, Pull
Good eyesight
Reliable Person
Some retail experience

Responsibilities:
Handling pricing and negotiations with vendors for lumber supplies
Responsible for analyzing the market for seasonal trends in pricing
Sales Entries
Verify physical inventory if there are any discrepancies
Backup for the Sales counter (Customer Service)
Correcting or modifying invoices
