Calhoun Community College to Host FAFSA Friday Workshops

July 24-31
Calhoun Community Colleges financial aid department is gearing up to host a
free financial aid workshop for college bound students and their parents in need
of assistance with completing the Free Application For Student Aid (FAFSA) to
attend college during the 2015-2016 academic year. The workshops will be held
on Fridays, July 24 and 31 from 10:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m. on the Decatur Campus
in the Noble Russell building, room 106 and the Huntsville Campus in room 128.
This workshop is designed to educate and provide one-on-one assistance to
students and their families who are interested in various financial aid
opportunities for college. Federal Student Aid is the largest provider of student
financial aid in the nation, and the FAFSA is required for almost all federal and
state financial aid, including grants, work-study, and loans.
Students and parents are invited whether or not you plan to attend Calhoun
Community College. For more information about the FAFSA workshops, contact
Dr. Pat Wilson, 256-306-2743/email pwilson@calhoun.edu.
