Gear C is the output and has 200 teeth. Gear A rotates at 2,000rev/min anticlockwise. Calculate the gear ratio and the output speed. (4 marks} An epicyciic gear box is designed as shown below. The input A rotates at 175 rev/min clockwise viewed from the ieft with a torque of 30Nm. The efficiency is 85%. The number of teeth on gear D is 25 and the number of teeth on gear Bis 130. Calculate the following: The gear box ratio, The output speed and its direction. The output power, The holding torque.
