Chapter 13
In this chapter, Sumiko and her family leave California and go to Poston,
Arizona.They travelling in a truck which took them to train station.Sumikos
family catch the train and train move slowly a few peoples were throwing
rocks and pebbles. They train stopped for a long time because a white man
had laid on the track to protest evacuation. On the next morning the train
goes into town of Parker, from there they go to poston in buses. The heat has
been growing. She saw small, swirls of dust rise up from ground closer to the
bus. It seems the dust storm is coming. Suddenly, the entire sky darkened
with dust storm and they were in the middle of it. After sometime storm died
down. Everything in the world was brown and very hot.
