Station 1: Custom House
Activity Name: Build and Move
Logistics: 10 plastic cups
Instructions:
- Team members are to sit in a line
- The first person will use 10 cups to form a pyramid
- The pyramid will be passed from player to player along the line
- If the pyramid collapses in transition (eg. from Person A to
Person B), Person A must re-stack the cups and try again
- Once the team has completed the activity, they will be allowed
to choose the route
- Facilitators will record the time taken to complete the activity
Station 2: Fullerton Heritage Gallery
Activity Name: Crossword Puzzle
Logistics: 1 camera phone, 1 copy of the crossword puzzle, 1 pen
Instructions:
- One team member will take the travelator along the gallery and
take photos of the boards there
- Each groups member can only take one photo per board
- Teams have 3 tries on the travelator to take clear photos
- Teams will then have to complete a crossword puzzle based on
the information provided on the boards
- Facilitators will record the time taken to complete the crossword
puzzle only.

Station 3: Merlion Park


Activity Name: Newscaster
Logistics: 1 camera phone
Instructions:
- Teams have to read the information panels about the Merlion
situated around the Park
- One member will then be chosen to do a short news report on the
history and symbolism of the Merlion
- The reporter will then be required to approach a passer-by and
interview him/her regarding the Merlion and the participant will
share his/her own knowledge
- One facilitator will use a camera phone to record the news report
and subsequent interview(s)

Station 4: Fullerton Waterboat House


Activity Name: Building Bridges
Logistics: 16 cups, 6 drinking straws, 4 paper clips, 10 rubber
bands, 20 pipe cleaners, 2 pairs of scissors and 6 3 strings.
Instructions:
- Teams will be given 8 cups each
- The objective of the activity is to link the cups using only the
materials given
- At least half of each given material must be used (for example at
least 10 pipe cleaners must be used)
- Each cup should have 2 or more links
- Facilitators will record the amount of time taken to complete the
activity

Station 5: MICA Building


Activity Name: River Crossing
Logistics: 12 Pieces of Cardboard, 2 ropes, 2 benches located there,
stopwatch
Instructions:
- 2 ropes mark out river between 2 benches
- Teams will be given 12 pieces of cardboard which will act as
platforms
- Entire team must cross to the end of the river together
- If any piece of cardboard is not in contact with any of the team
members, it is removed from the game
- Fastest team to get from one end of the river to the other gets
the most number of points
- Facilitators will time and monitor participants, should any piece
of cardboard be left untouched, remove it from the game

Station 6: Clarke Quay


Activity Name: Passing the load
Logistics: 1 Basket, 16 balls
Instructions:
- Teams will be given a basket with 16 balls inside
- Teams sit in a line, all facing to the side
- Using only their legs, they must transport the basket from 1 end
of the line to the other
- Only the first member in each team can use his/her hands to
touch the basket, and only to put it on his legs
- The basket must be passed from 1 member to another member
adjacent to him/her (so no skipping people in the line)
- If the balls spill out, the basket is returned to the first member
for the team to try again
- Team which completes the activity fastest gets the most number
of points
- Facilitators will time and monitor participants, if any ball drops
out of the basket or if the basket touches the
ground, restart the activity
