"If I run for three minutes, then my heart rate will be faster." My data supports the
hypothesis; For example, before I ran, my heart rate was 74, but after running, it was 146. Our
experimental group's heart rate was almost double the control group's(Val:74, Doha:68). The
article "Why does Heart Rate increase after Exercise?" states that running requires a bigger
oxygen supply than the heart has, thus requiring it to beat faster to produce more blood and meet
the demands of the muscles."(Jason Brick & Demand Media) In order to improve our
experiment, Val and Doha should've ran as well so we could get more data to compare. Another
thing we could've done to improve the experiment was to run at a similar pace because I was
running too fast and Ali was taking it easy.
