Accounting 1120 has been very interesting. It started almost at the same level as
accounting 1110, but then become much more interesting in that what we learned could be used
in our lives. When it became time to do the Amazon project, we had learned about stock, bonds,
the difference between LLCs and Corporations, and so much more. I knew it was time to put it
all together and use it for this project.
The project consisted of research, formulas, and problem solving. What made the stress
of the project go down some was that the information was all in one central place. However, it
was still a lot of information to sort through.
There was a lot to learn by working on the Amazon project because it put together a lot of
what we learned last semester and then what we learned this semester. I believe Accounting
1110s final project consisted of only four chapters, while this semesters project was all
encompassing. That made it more difficult.
The best part of the Amazon project was that I believe it will prepare me for the final.
Most likely the final will consist of sorting information and solving formulas. I am very grateful
for this preparation. There are a few things I need to go back and study because the concepts are
not completely clear. This truth I also would not have known had it not been for the Amazon
project. Overall this project was great and big help.
