Mr. Hakimian's warm and nurturing personality, along with his rapport with the students and other staff in the building, were excellent. He was professional at al times as he carried out his responsibilifies in a consistent anc dependable manner. Mr, Hakimion was always open to suggestions, and was like a "sponge" ready fo soak in more knowledge and ideas. Immediately he demonstrated excellent classroom management skils; he was always ready to modify lessons if needed, and eager to experiment with new strategies. These qualities demonstrated his motivation and reflection about teaching and leaming. During his time in my classroom, Mr. Hakimian worked with a diverse, heterogeneous student population that renged from general education students to special education students. Whether instructing the entire class, working with a small group, or working one on one with students, Mr. Hakimian always made it his goal to work toward achieving student success. He mede certain to get to know the students ‘and as a result he gained an understandirg of their strengths and needs. He bonded with the students and it was evident in how the children respected and regarded him. Due to his enthusiasm ond creativity for the subject matter, the students always responded positively to his lessons. This was especially evident during a math unit that he successfully implemented with the class. While going through this unit with the students, Mr. Hakimian designed differentiated and engaging activities that were tailored to meet the needs of each studert while ensuring that they successfully met the goals of the unit. He brought the same level of enthusiasm to all of the units that he worked on with the class, helping the children to successfully grasp the material through inquiry and investigation. The initiative that Mr. Hakimian took upon immediately entering my classroom impressed me. Without being asked he would know when to take the lead and he was ‘of great assistance io me on many occasions. He developed a creative way to implement the moming oel-work that inspired the students to work even harder on those particular tasks. He helped to keep the room updated with current student work. He assigned fun and engaging activities that excited the students and yielded positive results, He helped analyze data and come up with action plans to meet the needs of JOYODS| BPOID UYIS ssogeq - sloSuniy SUIOW ay oF Pope.
