Troubleshooting Suggestions

Have a topology diagram in front of you

Without a diagram how could you.
a. Verify the correct ingress-interface for any mroute en
b. Verify the correct RPF Neighbor for any entry ?
c. Identify interfaces where PIM neighbors should have
discovered ?
Have a good working knowledge of IP unicast routing
troubleshooting (i.e, EIGRP, OSPF , etc).

Show IP PIM RP - command

show ip pim rp
Verify that you see the PIM RP
