My goal is to teach at an elementary school this 2015-2016 school year. I am
currently a student in Tarleton State Universitys TMATE (Tarleton Model for
Accelerated Teacher Education) program and am considered highly qualified as an
EC-6 teacher, and social studies 4-8 teacher.
In the last 10 years I have worked with children extensively as a nanny, camp
counselor, instructor, tutor and Sunday school teacher. My comprehensive
background in history includes earning a degree in history and anthropology, and
being published in a historic academic journal. Additionally Ive worked as a
volunteer at museums as a docent, and in collections and archives.
