National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) is a key functionary of Indian Space Research
Organization, striving to realize the Indian Space Vision through Earth Observation. It is responsible for
the Ground Segment of Remote Sensing Programme through satellite data acquisition, archival,
processing, dissemination, Remote Sensing Applications, Training and Capacity Building. It provides
Aerial services in the civilian Sector for the country. The Organization has four Regional Centres at
Bangalore, Nagpur, Kolkata and Jodhpur to address region/area specific Remote Sensing application
needs. The Earth Station located at Shadnagar, 65 kms from Hyderabad city, is being developed as a full
fledged centre to carry out the entire chain of Remote Sensing activities. NRSC is continuously exploring
the practical use of Remote Sensing for societal applications through multilevel initiatives, development
of value added data services and Remote Sensing Applications.
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates, for engaging them as
Graduate/Technician Apprentices under the apprentices act 1961.

General Conditions:
1. Only Indian nationals need to apply
2. The duration of the training will be one year only.
3. Selected candidates will be registered under the apprentices act 1961 for which they should execute
a contract.
4. Ex-apprentices or candidates who are currently undergoing apprenticeship in any organization/firm
are not eligible.
5. Those candidates with one year or more job experience after acquiring the essential qualification
either in government/public/private sectors are not eligible .
5. Age should not be more than 35 years as on 30.11.2013. Age relaxation as per Government of India
orders are applicable in the case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
6. Reservations for SC/ST/OBC/PWDs are applicable as per apprentice act 1961.
7. The trainees will have no claim whatsoever for employment in NRSC or any other centers/Units of
ISRO/DOS after completion of the training period.

available from 11.11.2013 to 30.11.2013. The confirmation copy generated after registering the online application, duly affixing a passport size photograph may be sent along with the attested copies of
mark-lists/certificates to Administrative Officer, Recruitment Section, National Remote Sensing Centre,
Hyderabad 500 031 so as to reach on or before 10.12.2013.
