Subject: FW: Baltimore Sun re: CVS reopening?

Hi all:
Weve begun to get inquiries from Baltimore media saying theyve been told we have
finalized plans to reopen the burned stores. One is from The Baltimore Sun (below) and
the second from WYPR. Were holding with our standard comment from the weekend, but
WYPR is now asking directly if their two guests State Sen. Catherine Pugh and Blaize
Connelly Duggan of Penn-North Recovery Center spoke prematurely about us
rebuilding. Just wanted to be sure you were aware, and hopefully we can all tamp these
down over the next few days while work continues with the landlords. If you have
questions, please give Carolyn or me a call.

Subject: Baltimore Sun re: CVS reopening?

Hi Mike,
I just left a voicemail on Erin Britts phone and sorry Im getting to this so late in the day.
Im a reporter at the Baltimore Sun. Im working on a story about businesses post-riots
and someone from the city just told me that CVS told them today that it plans to reopen
the burned store? Is that true? Last time we checked, 2 out of 5 that were damaged were
still up in the air so I just wanted to see if that means the company plans to reopen all? 4
out of 5? Etc.
I can be reached at 410 332 6624. Any help you can give is much appreciated. I am on
deadline for tomorrow.
Thank you,
Natalie
