Incentive books are books that many parents buy for their children to get them to enjoy reading. For example, some of the books that | stated off reading had packets of star stickers attached to them. Everytime I read the book, or achieved a certain goal while reading the book, I was able to adda star to the back cover. Once all ofthe star spots were filled, my mom would award me with a special treat Eventually, I came to love reading so much that incentives were no longer needed. I started off reading books such as: The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Berenstain Bears series, Dr. Seuss books, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?, and many other classics.
