PENGARUH KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL DAN KECERDASAN

SPIRITUAL TERHADAP PRESTASI AKADEMIK REMAJA DENGAN


SUBJECTIVE WELL BEING SEBAGAI VARIABEL MEDIATOR DI
SEKOLAH X SURABAYA

ABSTRAKSI
Kecerdasan yang di miliki siswa sangat berpengaruh terhadap tingkat
kesuksesan siswa dalam pemahaman pelajaran. Terdapat faktor lain yang
menyebabkan seseorang menjadi sukses yaitu adanya kecerdasan emosional dan
kecerdasan spiritual. Dengan kecerdasan emosional tersebut seseorang dapat
menempatkan emosinya pada porsi yang tepat, memilah kepuasan, dan mengatur
suasana hati. Kurangnya kecerdasan spiritual dalam diri seorang siswa akan
mengakibatkan siswa kurang termotivasi untuk belajar dan sulit untuk
berkonsentrasi, sehingga siswa akan sulit untuk memahami suatu mata pelajaran.
Selain kecerdasan emosional (EQ) dan kecerdasan spiritual (SQ), perilaku belajar
selama di sekolah juga mempengaruhi prestasi akademik seorang siswa.
Subjective well-being juga berperan dalam pembentukan prestasi mereka di
sekolah. Subjective well-being ini merupakan suatu bentuk evaluasi mengenai
kehidupan individu yang bersangkutan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari keterkaitan antara pengaruh
kecerdasan emosional dan kecerdasan spiritual terhadap prestasi akademik remaja
dengan subjective well being sebagai variabel mediator di Sekolah X Surabaya.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah basic research. Sumber data dalam
penelitian ini diperoleh secara langsung dari responden dengan menyebarkan
kuesioner tentang kecerdasan emosional, kecerdasan spiritual, prestasi akademik
dan subjective well being dengan sampel adalah siswa kelas X dan kelas XI SMA
X di Surabaya.

ABSTRACT
Intelligence in the student had great influence on the success rate of students
in understanding the lesson. There are other factors that cause a person to become
successful is their emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence. With the
emotional intelligence of a person can put his emotions in the right portion, sort of
satisfaction, and set the mood. The lack of spiritual intelligence within a student
will result in less motivated students to learn and difficult to concentrate, so that
students will be difficult to understand a subject. In addition to emotional
intelligence ( EQ ) and spiritual intelligence ( SQ ), learning behavior during the
school also affect a student's academic achievement. Subjective well-being is also
instrumental in the formation of their achievement in school. Subjective wellbeing is a form of evaluation of the life of the individual concerned.
This research aimed to explore the relationship between the influence of
emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on academic achievement
adolescents with subjective well being as a mediator variable in School " X "
Surabaya. This type of research is basic research. Source of data in this study were
obtained directly from the respondents by distributing questionnaires about
emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence, academic performance and
subjective well being with the sample were students of class X and class XI senior
high school in Surabaya.
