Butterfly Release and Memorial Service at KRHC

Honor someone special by releasing a butterfly! Please join Hospice of the Heartland for their
annual butterfly release and memorial service.
Hospice of the Heartland will be hosting their third annual butterfly release and memorial service
at Kossuth Regional Health Center on Wednesday, June 10. The service will start with coffee and
social time at 4:30 p.m. in the dining room, with the service to follow at 5:00 p.m., and the
butterfly release at 5:30 p.m.
Everyone is welcome to release a butterfly in honor or memory of someone special, or to simply
attend the ceremony and service.
Butterflies are a symbol of love, hope, and transformation, and have become a centerpiece of this
memorial event.
"The annual butterfly release has become a wonderful tradition that we offer to the family
members and loved ones of those who have passed," said Charissa Mueller, the Hospice
Volunteer Coordinator.
The cost of a butterfly is $10 each, and needs to be reserved in advance.
For those wishing to release a butterfly during the service, contact Community Health and
Hospice at 295-4430 by May 29.
