SIMON BACHAND

An Australian graphic artist

who has created a collection of
artworks inspired by the Expo67
Worlds fair, and Moshe Safdies
revolutionary urban housing
concept, Habitat 67. He has
depicted Expos experimental
architecture passing through
Montrals dramatic seasonal
variations through carefully
designed stylised painting
and printing techniques.
Accompanying the work is a
sculptural diorama of a North
American forest.

A Mexican born visual artist

who has created artwork
about Montreals landscapes
and personal stories that form
part of it presently and in past
times. She is approaching this
idea through both portraiture
of chosen inhabitants and the
study of urban landscape in her
paintings using mixed media.

A Montreal born artist with

a background in 2D cartoon
animation. The subject of his
latest collection is literally close
to home - Montreals iconic
staircases. These beautiful
structures are part of daily
life in Montreal, and provide a
platform for social interaction
with neighbours, bringing the
cities people closer together. He
has painted their great variety of
shapes and spiralling movement
using his signature energetic
brushstrokes.
