Everywhere!
It's time to celebrate National MOLE DAY!
Badgers, we don't need no stinking Badgers!
We'll have guaca-MOLE, and maybe MOLE-asses
cookies!
Work with your research groups and create a poster to demonstrate
your MOLE knowledge!
Be Cute!
Be Clever!
But be Accurate!
Dont recycle someone else's MOLE-dy idea! Be original!
Be ready to give a 4 minute presentation on your group project to be
followed by a 5 minute Q&A from the class!
(Remember, they'll all be MOLE experts, so be ready!)
Everyone in the group will need to participate in the presentation, and
questions will be answered by random members (chosen by the draw of
the card!) of your group!

2. What a Mole is.
3. How to convert Moles, Molar Mass, Mass, and Particles.

o Create a Poster: Create a poster that includes that include Mole
History, Molar Mass, Mass, and Particles. It has to include
step-by-step instructions for making mole calculations.
o Go to the free site www.Padlet.com and create a profile.
o Create a wall that includes the following:
o A picture of everyone in your research group.
o The names of everyone in your research group.
o At one Mole picture.
o 3 examples of Mole Calculations

o Step by step instructions on how to solve each calculation
o An example of a Mole of a common item, such as, How much
money would a Mole of pennies be? (OK, that was my idea,
dont steal it!)
