Cut chicken in pieces and shred onions, set aside.
Heat 3 Tbsp oil and stir-fry onions until fragrant. Add chicken pieces and stir-fry briefly. Add sauce and bring to boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer about 30 minutes until liquid is almost absorbed and chicken if done, serve.
