Project #2 Draft 2 Reflection
In the second draft for my project two, I realized that I incorporated quotes in too
hastily, and not explain the content of it. So in this draft, I initially explained what my
community, its background, and its purpose, Kalu Yala, a town located in Panama that is
currently being built by CEO Jimmy Stice from the ground up, is predicted to prosper
substantially not only for its members, but also for the rest of the world. Then I reversed
the quote from the beginning to the end of the introduction (from draft one to draft two). I
also changed my explanation of that quote to make it more precise and clear for my
audience. Ultimately, instead of introducing the quote immediately in a paragraph (like I
did with draft one), I introduced content first, and then used quotes as support.
Furthermore, I also changed the organization of my essay. I broke the essays into more
paragraphs to make my ideas more clear. I also grouped the ideas of social media
together, while talked about the dichotomous key last.
My instructor was confused with who my community was about (either the
students, interns, or educators), which I need to pick a focus point on in my next draft.
She also had to remind me of little details; such as Twitter is not a genre, but rather a
platform. Furthermore, she suggested that I also had to give more details about the genre
of Google Hangout, to show her how the community uses it more than just once.

Overall, I received a four out of five on this draft. Theres more room for
improvement, but I have the general concepts and ideas intact.
