An example of successful marketing strategy for 2015 can be Aam Aadmi Party

(AAP). They were contesting the Delhi elections again after failure in their
previous regime of 49 days. It was pretty difficult for them as people and media
were raising questions against them. But they stood firm and still. They became
peoples choice over a well-established, powerful political party BJP in Delhi this
year. They learnt quickly from their mistakes and implemented improvised
strategies, leading to success. There were many reasons for their success. They
had believe in themselves, built their support systems. They also understood
that they have made mistakes in the past and learning from them they were
ready to overcome those and build a new govt. this time. Also their marketing
strategy was better than other parties and main competitor BJP. Instead of
accusing other parties, all their rallies were focussed on what they are going to
do in Delhi after coming into power while others were involved in accusing
Kejriwal. These accusations made Kejriwal the tallest leader of election
campaign. AAP made promises in their rallies which were actually rooted to the
core of problems in Delhi. They also came up with proper explanation for their
failure in last term and were able to convince people of Delhi in their favour. All
the ingredients which were needed for any product marketing campaign to
become successful was there in the AAP marketing strategy like learning from
previous mistakes, perseverance, confidence, planning and execution of the
plans perfectly.
