THE ABORTION
My name is Daniela Bedoya, I am a 16 year-old ,youth is a time to enjoy and know
how to live their own way, many young and young start to have an active sex life,
which becomes unwanted pregnancies, so resort to abortion, as we know and
Legal abortion or voluntary interruption of pregnancy, is the procedure which seeks
consciously finish with an ongoing pregnancy.
The main causes of abortion in adolescence, is the rape and unwanted pregnancy
or planned. The reasons for adolescents toward abortion, are sometimes the fear
of rejection boyfriend, the family, the responsibility of a baby, have an addiction like
alcoholism, smoking or drug abuse increase the likelihood of an abortion. Also
health problems and even some teenagers for fear of a normal pregnancy and
labor pain.
Therefore or to prevent abortion must be designed and better sex education
program and the use of contraception for adolescents throughout the country. In
education the government should provide in textbooks, more information on the
topics of sexuality and reproductive health of adolescents. Campaigning how to
use contraception and family planning. This would be for adolescents were aware,
to avoid unwanted pregnancies and of course abortion.
