Teacher/Therapist Recommendation Form: DramaWorks!

A cornerstone program of HealthyU Now Foundation, DramaWorks is an afterschool class and summer
camp developed specifically to assist young people on the autism spectrum develop and deepen their
social skills.
This program is designed for children in Grade 3 through young adult who are on
the mild to moderate end of the autism spectrum. To attend, the child must be
verbal and be able to follow simple instructions.

Operating from a position of presumed competence for all participants, this learning opportunity is less
obviously about autism and social skills, and much more a drama experience. Whether it be teambuilding
games, improv skits, script writing, set building, or rehearsals and performance, DramaWorks truly works!
