The first adventure of Dr. Jose Rizal in Europe is in Berlin and Madrid.

The first time he went there feels

very remarkable due to freedom and liberty of the people living around the place. They have the equality to
express their thoughts within government, church, and any issues concerned to the community. He related the
life there and in the Philippines and concludes that their differences are that from freedom of speech and
regarding rights. He had become a member of group called Kilusang Repormista with other Filipino colleagues.
They originated from different municipalities which came to have bind friar abuse. They ease up the ailment to
lose the friars. A Masonic Order was part of his membership that constraint human rights and surrendered his
Catholic faith.

Next country is Germany which two Germans had become friends with Rizal namely Dr. Luis de
Wecker and Karl Urllmer. He noted the said country as liberal and industrious. In this country, he completed a
novel, the famous Noli Me Tangere. In this very moment, his mind is shaping in the way that he had high hopes
for reform in the Philippines and plans abroad for a revolution to commence the failing of the Spanish
Government.

He had visited back to the Philippines in the year 1887. Back to his voyage in Europe, due to the
decision of his relatives and an archbishop he continued travelling abroad. With the help of Mr. Taviel de
Andrade, his friend, he started his journey after Philippines in 1888. That states that Rizal visited Philippines
only about a year. He made a stopover to Japan to be at the Spanish Legation. A person named O Sei San had
his conveyed notice. In a misfortunate moment, he had to continue his league in Europe and detoured to
America. His opinion states that it is a raw, grasping and restless with growing land of opportunity. Nothing
interests him there so he quickly left the place and to aboard in the ship named City of Rome going thru London.

There in London, he stay put in an English family and had met Ms. Gertrude Beckett nevertheless he
had found another women in there. His main objective being there was to have a written version of Morgas
Sucesos de las Islas Filipinas, to attest to the Spaniards that we can be independent enough without them
conquering us. Also, to inspire fellow Filipinos to set every one of us apart from their way of culture, diversity,
and belief who were likely to be savages and cavemen? The point of view that Rizal knew is that though his way
of thinking is to be a historian and also to be a true fellowmen to others that experiences of harsh colonialism
victims.
