The purpose of this essay is to provide candid and crucial understanding how to make, a
suitable, useful and successful decision support system for technology-based companies.
3. Discussion of the significance of the topic
This topic can make a significant contribution to technology-based companies in making an
effective decision support system. This essay will discuss practically what technology-based
companies should carefully think about and plan from the first time in making a decision
support system and through the process, in order not to waste any money and investment
making a wrong or fail decision support system. The decision support system must be built to
fulfill the company’s needs and help decision makers in making an effective decision that
crucial to the business life of the company.

1. The real practical use of a decision support system for technology Koes companies.
Decision support system can be used to make an effective decision and many other
important tasks, as long as it is used optimally. This essay will discuss the essential and
practical of the several real uses of a decision support system for Technology-based
companies. Realising the real use for the company will automatically lead to decide whi
decision support system will be chosen to support the company. -
2. Who and what should be involved in successfully making a decision support system for
technology based companies.
‘The important things for making a successful decision support system for technology-
based companies are to involve the crucial end-users, such as management, and the
suitable decision support software system. If the end-users are involved from the first time

in making and deciding which decision support software system, then the initial purpose of
using decision support system will be accomplished.
3, Some criterias to be considered as a good decision support system for technology-based | ~

‘There are some crucial basic criterias of the decision support system that have to be *
considered as a good decision support system. These criterias have to be referred always
while in the process of making a decision support system, in order to stay alert of what the
first purpose is in making decision support system for technology-based companies.
