What supply chain network would you recommend to bob bassett based on

the current four echelon structure (plant>sw>dc>store)

The effective supply chain network that we would recommend to Johnson

&Johnsons Bob Basset is similar to the above scenario of trust based
partnerships which means suppliers are working in tandem with the
business for mutual benefit. Working in tandem suggest that collaboration
would be present and that they would be working to the full extent of their
capacity in order to mutually run together. As written above this partnership
is based on trust. So most likely it is implied that the relation between the
company and plant is standing for years. It is because trust wouldnt be
established at a sooner time frame. It would be ideal that they evaluate the
status of their partnership by looking at the integrity of the companies and
their collaborators. It also suggests a proactive approach being taken rather
than a reactive. It would be a good idea that they would start being proactive
rather than waiting for something to happen. The idea on which being
proactive is based on preparation. Preparation is substantially important
because it entails to serve the customer without knowing beforehand what
are the things that they would want or need. It is merely being prepared for
anything that would come, given a worst case scenario. Being proactive has
its benefits, ranging from the awareness level on which most customers
would praise as a company that has taken its necessary steps to be ready.
While being reactive can suggest that the company lacks the initiative to do
their research right away resulting to waiting for feedback from the
customers that could imply lack of preparation
