Undersecretary of Presid ommunications Development and Strategic Pfanning RE : Hoisting of the flag during inclement weather DATE : July 06, 2015 In view of the rainy season, we would like to inform your respective agencies about the prescribed hoisting and display of the Philippine flag according to the “Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines,” also known as the Republic Act No. 8491 Chapter 1, Section 3: h. “Inclement Weather’ shall mean that a typhoon signal is raised in the locality; Chapter 1, Section 16: f.
