EXT. MADELINE LOPES HOUSE – AFTERNOON

Valerie Smith knocks at Madeline Lopes house to pick up Elaine

Lopes; Madeline opens the door and gives Elaine to Valerie.
[VALERIE SMILES]

MADELINE LOPES
C’ya later

Elaine takes her doll off her mum and waves bye. Elaine and
Valerie walk off holding hands.

CUT

EXT. PARSLOES PARK – AFTERNOON

Valerie and Elaine walk into the park and Elaine runs on to one
of the parks apparatus and starts playing, while Valerie stands
around.

CUT

Elaine goes to play on the swings, and Valerie goes to help give
her a push start. Elaine gets into swinging on the swing.

CUT
Valerie receives a phone call from her best friend she has not
seen in a long time. She answers her phone.

VALERIE
[WITH A BIG SMILE ON HER FACE]
Hey long time no speak

Valerie then walks off on the phone leaving Elaine unattended.

CUT

Elaine gets off the swing and goes to play Hopscotch, as she is
playing Hopscotch she realises Perdita Klingbell staring at her,
she stops playing and stares back at the person in shock, then
looks round to see if she can get Valerie’s attention, however
Valerie is too busy caught up in her conversation.

CUT

Perdita Klingbell is shown walking towards Elaine.

CUT
Elaine screams and drops her doll on the Hopscotch area she was
playing.

CUT

After Valerie hears Elaine scream she stops her phone call and
looks around for Elaine but can not find her. She becomes
worried.

EXT. PARSLOES PARK – EVENING.

Elaine is sitting on the swings, clenching her doll in both hands

looking around scared.
