Daily Roles:
Supreme ruler, supervises building projects, considered a god.
Pharaohs chief advisors, all official documents had their seals
of approval.
Nobles: Looked after the regions of Egypt and made local laws.
Priests: Performed religious rituals.
Soldiers: responsible for the defense of Egypt.
Scribes: Wrote down important details.
Made jewellery, shoes, pottery and clothes.
Farmers: worked for the pharaoh and got clothes, food and
housing in return.
Slaves: Were prisoners of war and worked in households of
Pharaohs or in mines

Inquiry Question: Can an individual change social classes?:
You could move up a social class. Peasants and farmers often
sent their children to a trades school where they could then get
jobs as craftsmen or even scribes. Boys went to school but girls
went as well and did very well.
