Majority of students consider A.M.I.E as tough and difficultto-pass course.

The reasons for why a students fails in A.M.I.E exam is,

A student while going through the syllabus will just be in dilemma about what

to study and what not.. Moreover he may be ignorant about which books to read,

STUDY MATERIALS

are solely for self-study purpose.

QUESTION BANK SOLVED Q &A

Most students fail in examination just because they are not familiar with the
pattern of AMIE questions. The questions bank prepared by Jyothis Academy is
unique in this kind. This book contains ALL previous AMIE Questions WITH
ANSWERS all the above 4 subjects from summer 2005 to December 2012. While
preparing this valuable book, we have taken special effort for rearranging complete
questions systematically. For example, in this book, you will see complete questions
were re-shuffled and regrouped topic wise. So, while you study a particular topic
from the syllabus, in this book you can find all previous questions asked from that
topic. This will not only help you study that topic to the required depth but also

IEI Materials
As you all know Institution of Engineers (IEI) is also providing study
materials. The IEI has made it compulsory that anyone who join for AMIE must buy
their study materials at a cost of Rs 2200/-. (This cost is included in the registration
fee of Rs 5800/-). But in the very first page of IEI material, it has been explicitly
stated that, the material issued by IEI is insufficient for AMIE exam. It says that,
even complete study of IEI materials will not ensure pass AMIE. Unfortunately, most
of the students use that material only, hoping that, the IEI material is sufficient for
AMIE exam!!!!! However, the materials prepared by Jyothis Academy is not at all
comparable to thatIt is entirely different and meant for making a student pass
AMIE exam in the very first attempt.

Buying the study materials is easy. There is no form-filling or submitting any

website (www.amieindia.in) and submit.
3. If the fee is paid as DD please detach the form at the end of this file, fill up and

4. The materials can be directly collected from the office of Jyothis Academy,

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is Jyothis Academy a book-seller?
Jyothis Academy, Kottayam is a dedicated AMIE coaching center. Providing study
materials for outstation students is a part of the service offered by this institute.

2. The Institution of Engineers (India) provides study materials. Then why

should I use another one?
The course materials provided by IEI gives only an outline of the contents. It neither
covers complete syllabus nor comprehensive.

3. How to prove that the IEI Materials are not sufficient?

Very simple. Take ANY previous question paper of AMIE. Also open IEI study
materials. If the answers of at least 50 marks AMIE questions are available in the IEI
materials, it means you can score pass mark by using that materials!!!.
But the truth is, you will hardly get answers of more than 20 marks questions.
This observation was made by analyzing ALL the previous question papers of AMIE,
against a page-wise scrutiny of other books/publications now available which claim meant for
AMIE.

4. I am using books of a Delhi-bases well known publisher. Isnt that enough?

Answer is same as above.

5. I am using resources collected from internet. How about that?

The internet resources can be used as support materials. But The AMIE which
requires a serious and objective oriented study demands the right study materials to perform
well in exams.

6. What is the outstanding feature of Study materials of Jyothis Academy?

This material is prepared by understanding the limitations of a student who opts a
non-class-room study. Those who have tight time-schedule will benefit much. The

7. Why everyone says that answers of all questions will be there in the
