: Camp officer conducted an introduction class useful for survey camp.

: Students were divided into 6 batches and selected plot for each batch.

: Received the instruments for doing whole work.

: Conducted reconnaissance survey. Cleared work site. Additional points fixed.

: Prepared location plan and key plan and submitted.

: Reference points selected and linear measurements were taken.

: Stopped the days work.

: Reported at the college.

: The group is divided into two. The one for preparing reference sketch and
other for taking traverse using theodolite and then work started.

: Completed the reference sketch data and plotted the measurements.

: Bearing at a selected station were taken using prismatic compass.

1:00 pm : Plotted the coordinates of latitudes and departures in graph paper and
computed the area

: Temporary bench mark was established using dumpy level.

: Stopped third day work.

8:45 am : Started work the batch was divided into two groups. First group started
contouring and second group plane tabling.
