BACK GROUND
Cleft lip or labioschisis is a congenital disabilities that occurs to lack of normally unification (fusion)
from the lips since embryonic process that can occur a part or most of lips.The ranks of labioschisis is
ninth of the tenth most frequent congenital anomalies. The purpose of this study is to describe the
Profile of patients at Aceh Cleft, Lip and Palate Center based on type of cleft lip, age, sex, and place
of residence
METHOD AND SAMPLE
This study is the descriptive study with cross sectional survey on "Profile of Patients at Center Cleft,
Lip, and Palate Aceh Period 2010 - 2014", from 15 May 2015 until 30 July 2015 Samples were
taken by total population sampling.
RESULT
The results of this study are the 922 patients, 590 patients (63.9%) sex is male with the most type is
unilateral Labioschizis Incomplate about 379 patients (41.1%), with most of age is 0-5 years amounted
to 526 patients (57.1%),and most of them are from Aceh Besar area about 141 patients (15.3%). The
conclusion of this study is most of type of patients with cleft lip is Labioschizis Unilateral Incomplate,
the largest age 0-5 years, the majority sex is male, and mostly from Aceh Besar. Hopefully to health
officer in primer health care in Aceh Provincial to give the announcement about cleft lip and palate to
the peoples in every village in aceh area, that can make many patients with cleft lip and palate can get
the treatment
