Andrew Stoner

Andrew Stoner is a New South Wales-based


professional with extensive experience in both
business and government. He has been a
Member of Parliament for 16 years, leader of
The National Party for 11 years, and Deputy
Premier of New South Wales for 3 years.
Currently, he runs the Sydney-based consulting
firm, Andrew Stoner and Associates Pty Ltd.

Besides this, he also performs a variety of other


roles including Director of Sports Aviation
Flight College Australia Ltd. and Director of
Slasherteck Pty Ltd., Senior Advisor at Moelis
and Company Pty Ltd., Patron of the Australia
China Economic, Trade & Cultural Association,
and Advisory Board Member at NSW Leaders.

He is a qualified professional with a Master
of Business Administration (1st class
honours) from James Cook University.
Prior to this, Andrew Stoner was enrolled
in a Bachelor of Business program at the
Queensland University of Technology and
graduated in 1987.

Stoner led the NSW governments international


engagement strategy for 3 years. He was
involved in trade missions and the establishment
of trade offices, and making a significant
contribution to the exports and inward investment
growth of the state. He delivered the Sydney
International Convention Entertainment and
Exhibition Precinct, a $4 billion redevelopment
project, on time and on budget.

Andrew Stoner also co-led the Asset Recycling
Strategy of the New South Wales government
through private sector ownership/operation of
key economic assets such as ports and
electricity infrastructure. This strategy helped
deliver significant funds to enable the New South
Wales Government to meet its critical
infrastructure needs.

He has been involved in over $13 billion of road,


rail and water infrastructure across regional New
South Wales, and played a key role in enhancing
the productivity of NSW industries including
agriculture and mining through the development
of 10 year Industry Action Plans.
