‘To Whom It May Concern:
Itis with pleasure that | write this letter of recommendation for Meagan Lee, for whom I served as the
‘supervisor during her clinical practice/student teaching in the spring/summer of 2015 through Rowan
University.
Meagan is a dedicated educator who demonstrated this at Mullica Township Elementary School in
Elwood, New Jersey. She completed her Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification (TOSD) clinical
practice working with students in grades one through four.
‘Meagan worked with her collaborating teacher in providing instruction in both an inclusive classroom
and direct instruction in a small group setting. Her experience included mathematics, reading, phonics,
and writing for which she planned and provided instruction that incorporated the individual
Personalities and interests, academic abilities and developmental levels of each student. She taught as.
both the lead teacher and as a support teacher in the second and fourth grade classrooms during which
time she exhibited an innate ability to coordinate with her colleagues,
Meagan handles behavioral issues in a positive manner, while reminding each student of their individual
behavioral expectations, and holding each to the agreed expectations in a calm, consistent manner.
Her patience and compassion are apparent in all aspects of her teaching.
‘Meagan’s strengths include her organization, adherence to timelines, and communication. She is always
prepared in advance which allows her to adapt to classroom and schedule changes. She differentiates
and adjusts instruction to fit the student needs. She clearly communicates with her students and
provides an engaging and positive learning environment.
Meagan will be an asset to this school district.
Sincerely,
