Geography (Part 2 The solar system)

The study of heavenly bodies is known as Astrology.

Our solar system is the name given to the collection heavenly bodies that encircle round a star
called the sun.
The solar system includes - 1.Sun, 2. Eight Planet, 3. Asteroids, 4.Meteors, 5.comets, 6.
Interplanetary dust, 7. Plasma.
The solar system was oriented in primitive solar nebula, a rotating disc of gas and dust. It it
form this rotating disc that the planets and the rest of the solar system evolved.
Planes- Terrestrial or Rocky planets- 1.Mercury,2.venus, 3.earth, 4.Mars.
Jovian or gas planets- 1.Jupiter, 2.Saturn, 3. Uranus, 4. Neptune.
Pluto, charon, cerse, Xena 2003(UB3130 and sedna are now known as ' Dwarf planets'. and
include lesser objects that orbit the sun in a new class 'small solar system bodies'.
