‘around the world in 80 days with his butler, Jean Passepartout as they embark on journey which

The theme of the novel is how steadfastness in one’s principles is key to achieve
success, Phileas Fogg shows his conviction and non-compromise atttude by persevering to
finish what he has started and no rratter how difficult the obstacle is, he always gives his best
effort and overcomes the difficulty. First and foremost. Phileas Fogg is persistent to lead his life
ina well organised, albeit eccentric, an example of which is shown early on in the story when he
fired his previous butler for messing up the temperature of his shaving water for is has to be in a
certain degree. Although It Is unthinkable to fire someone over something we construe as
insignificant, this shows that he Is @ person who is very much into details and to be honest, to be
‘meticulous and picky is good if we want everything to go our way for one must never

Fogg. First and foromest, Phileas Fogg is a meticulous person who loads his ifo in a well

Club, which was fo travel around the world in 80 days and he overcame many an obstacle to
sucessfully make it back in time. Trust me, a person without a sense of determination and
resilience vould not have even accepted the bet, what more win it!

organised in order to manage our daily routine better, be brave and persistant in overcoming
challenges in life
