INITIATIVES
Target various crowds of football fans outside of Jacksonville,
but within a close enough proximity to be Jaguars fans
First, find where to most effectively reach sports fans in these
areas
Areas to consider:
Gainesville,Tallahassee, Orlando, South Georgia, Daytona, etc.
Venues + outlets to consider:
Major sports bars (Buffalo Wild Wings + Mellow Mushroom)
Popular college football teams (Florida State University, University of
Florida and University of Georgia)

INITIATIVES

(SPORTS BARS):

Sports bars often serve as the next-closest venue for a game besides
physically being at the stadium
Many people have to live in remote areas for career and family
purposes
This is also the case for many Jaguars fans originally from Jacksonville
throughout the Southeast
Opportunity to create a destination for these Jaguars fans to watch
their favorite NFL team play on Sundays
Major sports bars will most likely have NFL Sunday Ticket, thus allowing them to
show a Jaguars game
Many areas of the Southeast are distanced far enough from any
professional football team that they have an option of who to support
Make initiative to convert these team-less people to become Jaguars fans

INITIATIVES

(COLLEGE SPORTS):

Many Jaguars fans have attended these nearby, major

universities and are also active fans of their respective
alma maters
Connecting with these fans could help build a stronger
relationship between these people and the Jaguars
Starting points include:
Gathering college teams schedules, specifically highlighting
away games + bye weeks
Finding notable alumni from each college team that now play
for the Jaguars
Number of season ticket holders each university has for their
football team
